Iiyama’s latest digital signage display, available in three sizes, is a slim (71mm) model for 24/7 applications. The LHxx81S displays can be mounted in portrait or landscape orientations, either solo or as part of a video wall: bezel width is 6.5mm.
An integrated media player enables playback from sources such as a USB stick. An OPS slot is also built in, in addition to DisplayPort (with daisy-chain), HDMI (x2), DVI-D (doubles as output), VGA and component ports. Each display also features a LAN controller and two 10W speakers.
All displays are part of the ProLite range. They are the LH4281S-B1 (41.9″), LH4981S-B1 (48.5″) and LH5581S-B1 (54.6″). Aside from size, they are identical.
The displays use an IPS panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution; the panel also provides an 8ms response time, 1,300:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles. Brightness is 500 cd/m², and 10-bit colour can be displayed.
Iiyama is selling the displays now; they cost €1,010 (LH4281S-B1), €1,255 (LH4981S-B1) and €1,540 (LH5581S-B1), ex VAT.
