The EYE-TOLED-5500 – Eyevis’ transparent OLED display (Eyevis Prepares Transparent OLED) – has seen its first use in a commercial application. Several displays were used at the Geneva Motor Show in March to present Hyundai’s new Ionio passenger car. The installation featured an acrylic car model made of three separate sections. A display layer was featured behind each section; the first two were transparent and used two of the EYE-TOLED displays each. The final (opaque) layer used Eyevis’ EYE-LCD-5500 screen.
