Swiss watchmaker Hublot has been announced as an official partner of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and is launching the Big Bang Referee 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia smartwatch, running Google’s Wear OS—formerly Android Wear. It will be worn by referees and use goal-line technology to trigger alerts when a goal has been scored.
The smartwatch also features a 35.4mm AMOLED display with a 400 x 400 resolution and 287 ppi, as well as an accelerometer, gyroscope, tilt detector, haptic motor and GPS.
