Huawei has a new HMD that is being sold in China (only for now) as the Vision Glass. The glasses use microOLEDs to create an image equvalent to a 120″ image at 4 metres viewing distance. The panels are FullHD (giving 53ppd) with 480 cd/m² of output and coverage of 90% of DCI-P3. There is an adjustment for focus to meet the needs of those with myopia.
What We Think
There is no mention or sign of a camera, so these are firmly positioned as display replacement glasses, rather than any kind of augmented reality device. (BR)
