Huawei Mate RS Flexible OLED Display Came from LG

Huawei has switched ithe supply of flexible OLED panels to LG Display for its new Porsche Design Mate RS smartphone, according to ET News of Korea. The new device runs Android 8.1 and features a 6″ OLED screen with a 2880 x 1440 resolution, an ~83.5% screen-to-body ratio and with an under-display fingerprint scanner.

There’s also a Leica AI-powered triple-lens rear camera set-up, with 40-megapixel, 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel lenses (like the P20 Pro – Huawei P20 Pro Camera Impresses) that can record video in up to 2160p at 30 FPS. It also has a 24-megapixel internal camera. The Mate RS is out this month and is Huawei’s most expensive smartphone yet, retailing at 2 million South Korean won ($1,880).
