HP has new 13″, 14″ and 15″ Pavilion laptops that use 11th Generation Intel Core CPUs and Iris XE graphics. They also are among the firm’s first laptops to use post-consumer-recycled and “ocean-bound” plastics (limited to the speaker housing) that would otherwise end up in the sea. The Elite Dragonfly also uses these materials.
What We Think
Althuugh there seem to be more important things at the moment, the trend to more environmentally-aware products is a long term one. It has been my experience that pressure over environmental issues reduces during difficult economic times, but can come back strongly with recovery. (BR)
