Following last week’s announcement that Hon Hai Precision and Innolux are to set-up a joint venture 6G panel production plant in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, it has emerged that the panels will be used in Apple’s products (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 46). The new plant is expected to begin operations in April 2016 with a monthly capacity between 30,000-50,000 units.
