Hitachi has announced the launch of its Q series of big screen Quantum Dot (QLED) Android TVTM OS devices. Designed in 65”/55”/50”/43” screen sizes, the frameless 4K HDR TVs bring you closer to the on-screen action, delivering higher levels of colour accuracy and detail, thanks to their QLED technology.
With features, such as Dolby Vision HDR, and integrated speakers, they build on the audio-visual performance to offer a more immersive home entertainment experience.
Quantum Dot Colour
Covering over 90% of the DC1-P3 colour gamut, the Q series brings up to 1 billion colours to the screen. This richer, more expansive colour range encompasses every shade and hue, enabling you to enjoy all the on-screen action in eye-popping, lifelike colour for even the brightest scenes. Primary colours, such as greens and reds are delivered with incredible accuracy to bring you closer still to the on-screen story.
Cinema-at-home viewing experience
To immerse you in the on-screen action, the Q series also comes with a number of additional features. The very build of the TVs supports distraction-free big-screen viewing, bringing you exceptional, pinpoint sharp Ultra HD 4K resolution from within a sleek frameless design. With cinema-inspired technology, Dolby Vision HDR, the TVs enhance the picture quality, offering ultra-vivid imagery, brighter highlights, and darker shadows.
Thanks to their integrated speakers, the TVs can offer an equally impressive audio experience. The built-in speaker boxes ensure that you can catch all the on-screen dialogue, while the subwoofers immerse you in the emotion of every on-screen scene, with powerful low-frequency sound. Supported by DTS technology, all the TV speakers work to maximise the audio, providing more immersive surround sound.
Additional image technologies
The TVs also enhance the everyday viewing experience for content in any resolution. They upscale and refine Full HD, HD Ready and SD content, while also optimising the dynamic contrast ratio with Micro Dimming.
Their dedicated viewing modes enhance the viewing experience for different types of content, including sports, movies, and games. This means that you can enhance the colour, contrast, and brightness for sports and bring out more colour for your favourite movies.
“The range is an important step forward in delivering exceptional picture quality for TV”, said Jim Beswick, Television Product Manager, Hitachi Europe. “With Quantum Dot Colour, the Q series can offer a visibly better picture, unlocking more colour, and definition for all the 4K HDR content that is now being produced. This feature, together with our other image and audio technologies make it easy and attainable to create a more deeply immersive viewing experience in any home.
Offering a high-quality home entertainment hub, every TV in the range also brings with it access to all the content you could want from movies and the latest TV series to music and games.”
