Hisense, sponsor of the FC Schalke 04 football team in Germany, is continuing to upgrade the stadium (Hisense Follows Through With Schalke Partnership). A new LED video cube will be installed above the pitch this year, which Hisense says is the largest of its kind in Europe. Each of the four faces will be 76.2m² – more than twice as large as the previous cube, which is also the current record holder with faces of 34.7m². Installation will begin in July and will be finished in August.
