Barco’s RLS-W12 is described as a ‘cost-effective’ 1DLP projector (we cannot confirm, as price is only available on application!). To simplify installation, the unit supports HDBaseT technology (up to 70m signal carriage), as well as warping, horizontal and vertical edge blending and picture-in-picture.
Designed for small- and medium-sized venues, the RLS-W12 is also available with an optional rental frame, so can be used in the rental and staging market. Operation is via a wired or wireless remote control, an Android or iOS app or Barco’s Projector Toolset software. Additionally, the product operates at full brightness on a voltage range of 110V – 240V; users in the USA and Japan do not require an extra adapter to use it.
The RLS-W12 uses two 465W lamps, providing up to 11,000 lumens of brightness and lasting between 1,500 and 2,000 hours. Resolution is 1920 x 1200, with a 1,500:1 contrast ratio.
