Google is buying light field pioneer company, Lytro for a deal that is reported to be somewhere between $25 million and $40 million although one report claims that Google is getting only the assets of the company. The company was valued at $360 million at the time of its last investment round and had raised $200 million since it started according to data from Pitchbook and quoted by TechCrunch.
