What We Think
Nikkei reported that Google is looking to boost its sales to double those of last year. The smartphone business is a ‘hits’ business and the Pixel 6 looks like a very good smartphone. Whether it’s good enough or different enough to display Apple or Samsung or even Xiaomi may well be another matter, after all, Google does not have much of a range of different price points. That’s in stark comparison to Samsung or Xiaomi in particular. (BR)
