What They Say
Google has updated its Chromecast Dongle and it has upgraded the product to include an IR/bluetooth remote control and a new user interface. The specification is similar to the Chromecast Ultra, with support for HDR and Dolby Vision. The interface is built around Android TV and the dongle drops support for Google Stadia, the firm’s streaming gaming platform, although it should be back in 2021. The new dongle sells for $49.
What We Think
The use of the name Google TV seems to represent a re-branding of Android TV. The interface will replace Play Movies. (BR)
