The latest builds of Google Chrome Beta and Google Chrome Dev on Android show that Google is working to bring virtual reality to the web. Chrome Beta now contains a WebVR setting, which enables enhanced VR device compatibility for websites built with WebVR. In addition, Chrome Dev now contains a ‘VR Shell’ setting; this enables a browser shell for VR, so users can browse normal websites while wearing a headset.
