GFU Surveys Germany Households

The GFU in Germany has conducted a survey of 2,000 households in Germany and found that internet access is now ubiquitous in German homes, with 98% of the respondents having a device with access. 90% use a PC, 82% a smartphone and 50% a tablet PC, while Smart TVs with internet connected are in 42% of homes. For smartphones and tablet PCs, the values ​​have increased by 6% compared to 2015.

The survey also looked at work/life habits and found that there is more an more blurring between work time and private time, with a third of respondents saying that they can be reached in the evening or weekends, by customers, colleagues and supervisors and with 29% saying they respond during their free time.
