Although there is a link to ‘more details’ on the site, there is nothing about the OLED panels, just the modular system in general. There is a video that gets the buzzwords ‘hybrid work”, “experiental platforms” and “metaverse” all into the first 20 seconds, not to mention “The dynamic nature of the built environment”. It set my bullshit detectors to full alert.
LG Display has put a lot of resource into trying to drive transparent OLEDs. However, I still expect the payback to be in the future in transparent microLEDs.
I was once attending a business event run by my bank. A director of a big office equipment maker asked me what I did “I work for a Japanese maker of screens”. He was hostile to me until he realised that these were electronic displays, not privacy screens! (BR)
