General Mobile Supports Android 7

General Mobile, which is aiming at markets in 20 countries in MEA and West Asia, has released its third Android phone, the GM 5, which is an Android One phone. It has Android 7.0 and has 5.0″ HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 4. It uses a Snapdragon 410 procesor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash storage. There is a 2500 mAh battery that is removable. The cameras are 13 and 5 megapixel.

Analyst Comment

The Android One platform is designed as a standardised platform by Google. Sharp released the 507SH earlier this year in Japan. (BR)
