Digitimes Research in Taiwan forecast that the market for gaming hardware, software and services is projected at a CAGR of 6.6% from $99.6 billion in 2016 to $118.6 billion in 2019. In addition to gaming, global market value for e-sports in 2016 is estimated at US$891 million, for which, Asia, North America and Europe together account for over 90%, Digitimes Research indicated.
