Dell reported its full fiscal year result and saw 2% growth in 2020 to $94.2 billion with net income of $3.5 billion and operating income of $5.1 billion, up 96% on the previous year.
Dell’s client Solutions Group shipped 50.3 million PC units during the year, its highest ever. It also claims to be the only big 3 vendor to gain Commercial PC share in calendar year 2020.
CSG had an ‘outstanding quarter’ in Q4, delivering record shipments, revenue and operating income. Revenue for Q4 was $13.8 billion, up 17%, and operating income was $1.0 billion, up 67%.
What We Think
Like HP, it would be surprising if Dell hadn’t done well last year. (BR)
