Fujitsu Helps Put Digital First in Britain’s Schools and Colleges

While Fujitsu had no new devices, the company was talking about its Education Ambassador Programme, which is being developed with Intel and focuses on getting technology into education.

Education institutions across the UK are part of the EAP, including Brunel University and the National Autistic Society. Fujitsu will set up ‘Innovation Hubs’ at these locations, with its own devices inside. These will include tablets, laptops, desktops, workstations and convertibles.

The Hubs, we were told, should provide both students and teachers with the ability to develop their digital skills. Additionally, it is hoped that they will extend relationships with bodies such as the Department for Education.

Fujitsu’s first Hub was launched in January, at UTC Reading.
