Freeview Play is set to launch in October on TVs from Panasonic, Humax, Vestel and Manhattan TV. Guy North, managing director of Freeview, said: “We believe that Freeview Play is set to become the new normal way of watching TV”. Panasonic will also introduce Freeview Play products including three Blu-ray recorders and two digital TV recorders. Freeview Play adds catch up services to its live terrestrial TV support.
