Sony launches four new BRAVIA BZ40H Professional Displays specifically designed for business and corporate environments. Ranging from 55 – 85 inches, these superior large format 4K resolution screens feature incredible image quality with Full Array LED, alongside a redeveloped slim-line design for easy integration.
The all-new BZ40H models are the first to combine the ultimate picture quality with faster processing and transfer speeds, supporting the demands of professional applications. Unique to this range is also Full Array LED providing the very best in contrast, where light areas in an image receive a boost in backlighting, creating brilliant peaks of brightness. In response to customer feedback, a newly enhanced design with an ultra slim flat bottom aluminum bezel, new terminal positions and a reinforced structure also provides flexible set-up options for portrait or landscape installation.
The new series additionally implements a number of Sony’s advanced AV technologies, including 16:9 4K resolution with four times the detail of full HD, Sony’s powerful 4K X1 Processor enhancing contrast, clarity and colour to the highest level, and compatibility with High Dynamic Range (HDR) video formats. Together with X-Balanced speakers, the BZ40 series provides customers with exquisite picture and sound.

All BRAVIA Professional Displays additionally benefit from native compatibility with the Sony TEOS solutions for advanced workplace management, featuring the latest built-in functionalities such as customizable Smart Automation options, new Meeting Display interface and an intuitive Outlook integration, as well as signage, mirroring, wayfinding and meeting room management. With TEOS, Sony has also created COVID-19 related signage templates and a range of workflows to ensure flexible working and social distancing. BRAVIA Professional Displays are also natively compatible with multiple partners, including Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Kramer, Logitech and Control 4.
The four BRAVIA BZ40H Professional Displays are available in 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches and additionally feature:
- Easy-to-operate, one-step settings for meeting and conference rooms or digital signage applications, and a professional mode (Pro mode) for display customisation. Sony’s professional BRAVIAs also offer simplified export/import functions using USB, which allows a user to configure multiple displays from one “master” settings file to provide a consistent setup.
- An intelligent software platform that takes advantage of the built-in CPU/GPU and video decoder, simplifying complex systems with PC/STB/switcher into a single display. Functions such as automatic boot display and signal source switching can be achieved without the need for remote control or external devices, with reliable 24/7 operation.
- A built-in Android OS platform providing an upgraded interface and simplified operation for commercial customers, with Chromecast and Airplay 2 support allowing users to easily share content from smart mobile devices.
- Wireless connectivity supporting 5GHz, in addition to 2.4GHz and Wireless Access Point (WAP) for less interference to maximize network performance. As well as an internal WAP that is enabled within the software, eliminating the need to connect devices to external Wi-Fi access points.
The BZ40H series can be used in meeting rooms, public and retail spaces, digital signage, smart classrooms and healthcare institutions, among others. The professional displays also integrate with additional Sony AV products, cameras and monitors to create a fully operational, connected solution.
