Flexenable said that it has developed a flexible fingerprint sensor with 500 dots per inch (dpi) image resolution in collaboration with ISORG of France and that it is ready for production and is 0.3mm thick. The sensor can also detect veins. The companies have worked with Green Bit which creates systems including software. The technology could enable curved and wrap-around detectors for mobile phones or car steering wheels.
