FilMiC Pro is an app for high quality video capture on iOS and Android devices and the developer has now been upgraded to support HDR in 10 bit Dolby Vision on the iPhone 12. The app was used to film the promotional video for a recent Lady Gaga single as it includes features such as focus peaking, zebras, etc.
The firm also has a non-linear editor (NLE) for mobile devices, called LumaFusion, which also supports the 10-bit Dolby Vision.

It really is amazing how good mobile devices are at this kind of application and the accuracy and high quality of the displays are a key factor in this. If you couldn’t trust the displays, they really couldn’t be used for good quality video. However, you also need support from good software as in this case. (BR)
