Fieldbit, a developer of real-time AR collaboration solutions for field services, and InfinityAR have announced a strategic research and development alliance.
Through this alliance, Fieldbit and InfinityAR will jointly develop a vertically integrated solution for field service organisations that marries InfinityAR’s simultaneous localisation and mapping (SLAM) AR software engine with Fieldbit’s enterprise platform for remote assistance, collaboration and on-job knowledge capture.
Using Fieldbit software, service organisations can provide technicians with visual instructions or access to crucial information, including IoT data. The integrated solution will take advantage of smart glasses’ hardware design, AR and SLAM algorithm capabilities.
