UK distribution firm and service provider Exertis has acquired MTR Group, a company specialising in recycling, refurbishing and reselling mobile devices including smartphones, smartwatches and tablets.
MTR is situated in Essex and has a staff of 60. The company generated revenue of €13.22 million ($15.54 million) between November 2015 and November 2016, has enjoyed healthy year-on-year growth since its inception in 2011, and has close business ties with Samsung.
Exertis hopes to grow its own business relationship with Samsung, as well as developing and expanding MTR’s services.
