Exelus Bringing Mixed Reality Telemedicine App Coming to CES 2018

Exelus has announced that it will showcase Nomadeec, its new telemedicine platform using HoloLens technology in Las Vegas at CES 2018, from January 9th to the 12th. The mixed reality telemedicine application was co-designed and co-developed in partnership with holographic specialist Holoforge. At CES, Nomadeec will offer real life situation demos, providing insights into how in-field practitioners can apply mixed reality to patient management. For the first time in the world, the firm claims, EMTs and paramedics can seamlessly respond hands-free to incidents, with the ability to diagnose and respond remotely.

Nomadeec is a mobile diagnostic and telemedicine platform focused on delivering the most accurate information as fast as possible. With a range of customisable assessment modules, the plans is that the responder is quickly able to deliver exhaustive and accurate onsite triage. In-field practitioners also have the ability to consult with physicians in real time. Nomadeec is compatible with a number of wireless diagnostic devices and can support several connected Bluetooth devices at a time.

The team from Nomadeec will be at CES 2018 in the Health & Wellness market place, located at Sands Expo, Tech West, Level 2, Halls A-D Venetian Booth #43852.

There is a new HoloLens telemedicine app to aid people who need medical help. The app is called Nomadeec and was developed by the French medical technology company Exelus. Nomadeec makes it possible for paramedics to connect with a doctor who can diagnose the patient and oversee treatment using video chat and holographic markers. According to Exelus, the app more efficiently diagnosed patients in 25 percent of test cases and is awaiting FDA approval in the United States. Nomadeec will be on display at CES 2018. — VRSCOUT
