The European Commission has published the results of a public consultation on the Lamy Report (EBU Continues to Hold 700MHz Concerns). The results suggest that a co-ordinated EU approach; a common roadmap; and a cost-efficient transition are needed for the successful release of the 700MHz spectrum in the European Union. 356 stakeholders gave their views, with more than 60% seeing the merits in a co-ordinated approach. In response to the result, Anne Bouverot, director general of the GSMA, has called on European regulators to allow Member States to support co-primary allocation.
