Epson announced the latest BrightLink interactive ultra short-throw presentation displays for education, including the BrightLink 685Wi, 695Wi, 696Ui, and 697Ui. These enhanced displays enable individualized instruction with wireless content sharing and deliver up to full HD resolution and interactive images up to 100-inches
The BrightLink series now enable instructors to share content between the big screen and wirelessly connected mobile devices for individualised learning. With the Epson Multi-PC Projection with Moderator function and the Epson iProjection App, teachers have the ability to see and choose to display up to four devices simultaneously from a maximum of 50 connected student devices. Students can participate by displaying content from Chromebooks, PCs, and Mac computers, as well as iOS and Android devices.
The new BrightLink series also introduces DuoLink, an extended whiteboard feature enabling teachers and students to get twice the collaboration space by using two BrightLink devices side-by-side.
Whether across campus or in the classroom, students can connect and share any type of content in real-time using the flagship BrightLink 697Ui presentation display. With the Whiteboard Sharing Tool, up to 15 participants can join a whiteboarding session directly from any mobile device with a web browser or from another BrightLink without a PC.
The projectors have long life, low cost lamps that are claimed to last up to 10,000 hours in Eco Mode. (At BETT, we heard that the lamps cost £50 ($62) They have remote management with network connectivity and software included. The latest verisons have 3x HDMI inputs to support multiple high-definition A/V devices, with MHL support.
Epson also offers the Brighter Futures® program, a sales and support initiative available specifically for schools and that offers special pricing, extended warranty coverage for a total of three years, dedicated education account managers, and toll-free technical support for all Epson projectors and associated accessories.
