Epsilon Car Stereo has Dual Displays

Epsilon Electronics has developed a new dual screen car stereo system, the VRN-DD7HB. The system includes dual PCap touch LCDs, each with 7″ 800 x 480 resolution. One of the displays can act as a full screen GPS unit (based on iGo software) and the box supports Android PhoneLink so that a smartphone can be controlled from the display and the output of the phone can be mirrored to the large displays using USB. There is built-in DVD and MHL support.

When the top screen is ‘docked’, the motorised control system puts the lower display over the whole front of the unit. There’s a video below that shows how the mechanism operates.

The system unit fits in a standard system spacing and costs $449.99.
