What They Say
eMagin held an event in New York last week to show off its new OLED microdisplay which reaches 10K cd/m² with full colour. Ken was there (and I was there virtually) and will be reporting on it later this week. In the meantime, the press release is here. DSCC’s Bob O’Brien was also there and put his notes here.
What We Think
It was a bit frustrating that all I could see of the display was via a notebook camera and my screen. Still, Ken got to see the display ‘in the flesh’ so I’m looking forward to his report. (BR)
The eMagin display, of course, burned out the highlights from the notebook camera used on the Teams call.
