Eizo Corporation announced the CuratOR EX2621, a 26″ FullHD surgical monitor with “three screen” support and image enhancing technology. It is an upgrade on the CuratOR EX2621 which was released earlier, but has only two inputs. The EX2621 can support PoP and PiP modes for simultaneously displaying three inputs, two of which can be 3G-SDI on the new model (one on the EX2620). 10 bit colour is supported on the SDI inputs.
There are also dual 3G-SDI outputs for monitoring up to 30 metres away. There are also Composite, Component, S-Video, DVI-D and VGA inputs.
Maximum output from the IPS panel is 700 cd/m² and contrast is 1,400:1. Response time is 18ms (on/off). The monitor is rated to IP45 (front) and IP32 (rear).
The monitor will be available from July and pricing will be available then.
