Eizo in Karlsruhe, Germany, has released a number of new medical monitors in the last few weeks and has now added the LX491W monitor for operating rooms to its CuratOR range. The 49″ monitor has an IPS panel with FullHD resolution and 700 cd/m² of output with integrated calibration of brightness. 10 bit colour is supported and contrast is 1,300:1. There are five pre-designed LUTs for colour and gamma management and the monitor is factory calibrated. There is also a user configurable LUT facility.
Inputs include DVI-I and DVI-D, and both 3G-SDI and VGA are supported in loopthrough. Video is supported via S-Video and Composite loop through.
The unit is fanless and has a laminated safety glass on the outside to protect the unit and make it easier to clean. The monitor was shown at Medica in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The product will ship in the first quarter of 2018.
