Eizo has added to its range of surgical and endoscopy monitors with the CuratOR EX3140, the first monitor in that series that supports UltraHD. The 31.1″ monitor has an IPS panel with wide colour gamut and can emulate BT.2020 colour spoaces. There is 10 bit colour support (via SDI or DisplayPort) and 350 cd/m² with 1,500:1 contrast. Response time is 20ms (on/off).
Inputs are 4 X BNC (3G-SDI) and there are dual DVI-D (with HDCP) and one DisplayPort. There is loopthrough via SDI outputs and DVI-D.
The monitor has been designed with safety and hygiene in mind. It features rounded corners to prevent injury when moved around the operating room, and it also features a fully flat design which has protection against foreign material and splashes to a level of IP45 on the front and IP32 in entirety. Cleaning and disinfection can be done safely and efficiently without damaging the monitor, Eizo saod. It can also contain cables in the supplied cable cover for safe and hygienic use.
The monitor will be shipping from April 2018 with pricing available later from local sources.
