DTI Shows Off NASA 3D

Dimension Technologies Inc. (DTI) has launched a patented glasses-free 3D technology at Nvidia’s GPU Technology Conference, called ROC3D. It has been specifically designed for NASA, although also has uses in applications such as air travel and while driving. ROC3D shows ‘more intuitive gauges’, GPS, security screening, etc. The 3D keeps users in the ‘sweet spot’ with head tracking, and DTI claims that full resolution is provided in both 2D and 3D modes. The Company expects the Technology to be used in cockpit displays and other applications.
