Double Black Imaging of the US, a specialist in medical imaging that claims to “integrate everything in the USA” has had its 31″ 12mp (4200 x 2800) display certified by the US FDA for mammography. The IPS display has 1080 cd/m² of output, with 600 cd/m² in calibrated mode and 1,500:1 contrast. It includes front, backlight, ambient light and presence sensors and has dual DisplayPort inputs and a USB hub. There is integrated ambient task lighting that illuminates the background or workspace.
The company also provides a controller via Image Systems affiliate.

This kind of multi-purpose display has been becoming much more popular over recent years and a single display gives better matching when two images are being viewed even than matched single displays. (BR)
