Disney+ subscribers can now access immersive environments through the Disney+ app on Apple Vision Pro. These environments provide a 3D, interactive experience that allows users to explore virtual landscapes as if they are physically present.
One of the new offerings is an environment featuring Iceland’s Thingvellir National Park, created by National Geographic. This immersive experience transports users to the park’s unique rocky terrain during a snowy winter day. Through the use of high-resolution 3D models and gigapixel panoramas, subscribers are meant to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the natural sounds of the environment, giving the sense of being there.
Also for the Vision Pro, Disney+ is adding four 3D Marvel Studios films for subscribers: Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, and Ant-Man and the Wasp.
