Dell has updated its Alienware monitor line with two new monitors. The 27″ AW2723DF has an LGD Nano IPS panel with QuadHD resolution and 240Hz refresh. There is a ‘factory overclock’ mode up to 280Hz. It has support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync and is certified to VESA DisplayHDR 600. It covers 95% of DCI-P3 and features include tilt, swivel and height adjustment and a retractable headset hanger. Inputs are via DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0.
The AW2523HD is a 25″ IPS FullHD monitor with up to 360 Hz support and a claimed grey to grey response time of 0.5ms. Colour coverage is 99% of sRGB and the monitor is FreeSync Premium certified. This model will cost $450 and should arrive around September 6th, while the AW2723DF will cost $650 and arrive early in October.
