Dell Drops Legacy Connections on Ultrasharp

In the process of updating its Ultrasharp line, Dell has dropped the legacy connections on its 2012 model (U2713HM, Display Monitor Vol 19 No 33) in favour of increased digital terminals.

Similar to the U2713HM, the new U2715H (27″) covers 99% sRGB. Delta E is < 3 and an anti-glare coating is used. Slim bezels support the product’s use in multi-monitor set ups.

Tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustment are built into the stand. Dell commits to supplying the display with no bright pixels – it will replace the unit if there are any defects.

Specifications are largely identical to the U2713HM. Resolution is 2560 x 1440, with an 8ms response time; 178 deg viewing angles; and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Brightness is 350 cd/m
