Daktronics and Cadillac Fairview Partner to Install Multiple LED Advertising Displays

Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has partnered with Cadillac Fairview (CF) on a compilation of installations at seven shopping centers across Canada.

CF, one of the largest owners, operators and developers of best-in-class office, retail and mixed-use properties in North America, selected Daktronics to make their visual goals for customer experience a reality over the past year.

“We’re pleased to partner with Daktronics on the new and exciting digital installations across CF shopping centres in Canada,” said Jodi Clare, senior director, business growth and partnerships, Cadillac Fairview. “Daktronics has been a true partner in our digital screen installations – their expertise, creative thinking and delivery have created a seamless process as we move from property to property across the country.”

In total, 14 LED displays featuring line spacings of 2.5, 4, 6 and 10 millimeters were installed across seven locations for approximately 3,300 square feet of active digital space. The seven locations include CF Toronto Eaton Centre, CF Chinook Centre, CF Sherway Gardens, CF Rideau Centre, CF Carrefour Laval, CF Fairview Mall and CF Markville.

“Working with a company like Cadillac Fairview whose values reflect those of our own company is a great experience,” said Mike Novak, Daktronics sales representative. “The goal was to create digital marquees that will enhance the customer experience, bring value to advertisers and keep the architectural integrity of each unique property. We leveraged both company’s strengths to achieve this with Daktronics’ experience in image quality and Cadillac Fairview’s commitment to the customer experience and overall aesthetics. It was a success.”

To sell advertising on these installations, CF partnered with Branded Cities, a premier North American Out of Home advertising company specializing in iconic media in iconic locations.
