CrucialTec will continue to supply Google with its fingerprint recognition module for its forthcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones, according to ETNews.
Google’s manufacturing partner HTC is a long-term customer of CrucialTec, who also provided its authentication solution for the original Pixel smartphone.
Like the first Google smartphone, the Pixel 2 features a fingerprint sensor on the reverse.
The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are due for release on October 19th, a little over a year after the launch of its predecessor.
