Data Modul, under the Conrac brand, will show a new large format display at Inter Airport Europe in Munich (6th – 9th October). The 70″ 6170 PD is an indoor, dust-proof model. Like the smaller displays in the series, it features non-reflective safety glass and IP54-compliant housing.
Data Modul has built a front sensor into the unit’s housing; this monitors the panel’s functionality and can automatically adjust brightness (typical brightness is 700 cd/m²). Additionally, a Display Control Box is mounted on the rear of the product; this is a dust-proof unit (which can be swapped for another), which houses the display and control electronics, as well as the power supply. An integrated PC can be built in as an option.
Resolution is 1920 x 1080 and viewing angles are 176°. The screen uses a VA panel with a 5,000:1 contrast ratio and 8-bit colour display, with an edge-LED backlight. Operating temperatures are between 0° and 40°.
