Google has let slip that an Ultra HD edition of its Chromebook device is on the way.

A technical commit regarding an update to the Chrome logo was posted recently, saying “As an added bonus, this logo is not only much rounder but also higher resolution, making sure it will continue to look crisp and pretty on our secret upcoming 4K Chromebooks”.

Several notebook manufacturers feature Chromebooks in their ranges, including HP, Toshiba, Acer and Asus. Acer told us at the recent BETT show that it is the biggest brand for Chromebook sales, globally.
