Christie has introduced two new 1DLP laser projectors: the 4K860-iS and the 4K13-HS. These projectors are suitable for various venues such as classrooms, boardrooms, and places of worship.
The 4K860-iS weighs 33 lbs (15 kg) and provides 8,500 lumens in 4K UHD resolution. It has built-in Christie Twist for warping and blending, and can be paired with optional Mystique software for camera-based alignment.
The 4K13-HS, part of the HS Series, projects at 14,800 lumens, making it suitable for brighter environments. It also boasts 4K UHD resolution with enhanced color quality through Christie BoldColor+.
Andy Wang, a product manager at Christie, mentioned that the company’s range of 1DLP laser projectors now spans from 5,000 to 23,650 lumens. The projectors also feature passive polarized 3D and built-in warping and blending.
Both the 4K860-iS and the 4K13-HS work with the Christie Intelligent Camera (CIC), which aids in calibrating projector color, triggering autofocus, and, when used with Mystique Lite software, can automate the warping and blending of up to three projectors side by side.
These new projectors have a 5-year/20,000-hour warranty and are currently available for purchase.
