Wortmann AG’s Terra Pad 1061 is a 10.1″ tablet with the option of expansion via a docking station.
A keyboard and type cover are available, to add a physical keyboard to the tablet. However, for full expansion the product is available as a Pro version, which features a connector to fit the docking station accessory; 64GB of storage and Windows 8 Pro. The station adds HDMI, USB (x4) and RJ45 ports to the Terra Pad’s standard micro-HDMI, USB and SD card reader, as well as charging the tablet.
As a Windows 8.1 with Bing model, the Terra Pad is supplied with one year of free access to Office 365. It features 32GB of storage and Windows 8.1 in the basic version, running on a 1.83GHz Intel Atom CPU and 2GB of RAM. The display has 1280 x 800 resolution and battery life is up to nine hours.
Wortmann is selling the tablet now, for €195 (basic) or €335 (Pro).
