Changi Uses LEDs to Entertain Travellers

Changi Airport in Singapore has installed a 70 m small pitch LED video wall display in the security screen area of Terminal 4. The content consists of a fifty minute custom video of 17 separate segments and was created by Moment Factory of Montreal.

A separate installation in the terminal uses a 10m x 6m LED display that shows a 6 minute theatrical performance of a traditional story, also created by Moment Factory. The display is integrated in with a number of historic shop facades.

Like Munich Airport, Changi sees itself as a travel destination and will be open to the public from 7th to 20th August and has sold all 200,000 tickets! The airport didn’t say who made the LEDs or installed them. (BR)
