Canon has been showing off three of its new professional camcorder models at the International Broadcast Convention in Amsterdam this week.
Due for release in November 2017, the GX10 will retail at $2,499, the XF400 will cost $2,999 and the premium XF405 model will set buyers back $3,499.
All three products will feature a 1″ UltraHD CMOS image sensor and dual DIGIC DV 6 image processors. They will all be capable of shooting 4K video at 60 FPS and 1080p slow-motion video at 120 FPS.
They will also incorporate Wide DR Gamma and a wide dynamic range of 800%, Canon said (although we’re not quite sure what they really meant as they said it meant finer tone gradations!), as well as a 15x optical zoom that maintains UltraHD resolution throughout its entire range of movement and Dual Pixel CMOS AF autofocus.
