Canatu announced a new generation of high-optical-transmittance carbon nanobud (CNB) films at Printed Electronics Europe last month.
The Generation 6 film features ‘significantly improved’ light transmittance over previous products, as well as zero haze or reflectance. On a sheet resistance of 100 Ohms/square, transmittance is 95% – and 97% at 150 Ohms/square.
Canatu also said that ‘several’ design wins would be announced later this year in consumer electronics, wearables, household appliances and automotives.
