Canal+ to Fall Below 4 Million

Vincent Bolloré (CEO of Vivendi) and Maxime Saada (MD of Canal+) have predicted that Canal+’s French subscribers will fall below 4 million this year. The two were speaking to the French Senate’s Culture Committee in Paris, where Bolloré also – paradoxically – said that subscriber numbers have been rising in June. €400 million in losses are expected this year and €460 million in 2017.
