Can Apple Even Manufacture Enough Vision Pros to Sell?

TrendForce’s analysts are predicting that Apple Vision Pro is so complex to manufacture that there’s a limit to how many can be produced. The current prediction for the initial release is limited to the United States in the first half of 2024 and TrendForce anticipates that approximately 200,000 units will be shipped during this first release. That’s still not a small number. However, if you the follow Twitter thread below from Ben Bajarin at Creative Strategies, Apple could be pushing its suppliers to get to 500,000 units. Then, there’s the argument that if Apple could make a million, it would sell a million.

So, in this instance, it is not the products $3,500+ price, or the fact that there are doubts about its ability to delivery a compelling argument to attract consumer, but just Apple’s issues with building the devices at scale.
